Term 4 Weeks 1 & 2
The week started with a pōwhiri to welcome all our new students, families and teachers to the school. Room 14 were extremely lucky to welcome 24 new students and a new teacher Alex to the class this term. It was great how the students used investigation time to make connections. Week one's provocation was name writing. The students were engaged in different learning activities around writing and making their name. Week two's provocation was around flowers and plants. The students enjoyed a variety of activities that linked these themes to the curriculum. We have also been keeping ourselves very active in Room 14 over the last two weeks through kapa haka, cricket, PMP and obstacle courses.
